Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried in for a 12 kg bag, so that this can be better processed in our lump. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for the dog.

Buffalo

At YourDog we use meat from fairly grown up and grass -lined buffalo. Buffelo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At YourDog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together ensure a delicious taste and aroma of the chunk. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetable

To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. For example, vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, carrots, flowers, plants and algae has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected because of the positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are brought to the attention. Ras -specific complaints can be reduced by the use of herbs, carrots, flowers and plants.

Schillerst� Vare specific vegetables, herbs and fruit

We have carefully investigated the race characteristics of the Schillerst�vare. We have also conducted research into the properties of the FCI-RRAS section and the FCI variety group to which the Schillerst�vare belongs. These studies have, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionist, selected ingredients that optimally benefit the health and well -being of the Schillerst�vare.

Basil

Basil is a genus from the lip flowers family. The name comes from old greek, in which Obasileus means king, the alternative name is therefore royal herb. It originally occurs between Central Africa and Southeast Asia.

According to traditional medicine, Basil was used as a treatment method for arthritis, bronchitis, colds, stomach ulcers, heart diseases and abdominal pain. Research has shown that basil can have strong antioxidante, antiviral and antimicrobial properties. In addition, Basil can promote digestion, it helps with the removal of waste and it can have a cramping and calming effect on the dog.

Blueberry

For blueberries belong to the heathland family of the plants and grow mainly in the open forests in the northern hemisphere. The plant has been used for a longer period of time in traditional European medicine and is said to be known for the positive effects in diseases of the gastrointestinal system and diabetes.

For blueberries can be added to our dog food because they are rich in antioxidants, which protect the body against free radicals. Tomato

At YourDog we use tomato at a culinary level, we assume tomato as vegetables.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and have a highly soluble fiber content that contributes to digestion. Tomato also contains lycopene, here tomatoes owe their red color to this. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene is in it. In addition to giving a tomato the red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. For example, research has shown that lycopene can, among other things, offer protection against cancer and can help with cardiovascular disease. In addition, tomato contains a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, this can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Pup, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our variants Schillerst�vare dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Schillerst� Vare younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Schillerst�vare older than 7 years we recommend the Yourdog Schillerst�vare Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Transfer advice

If you switch to YourDog from a different feed brand, we recommend following the following steps. For the first step you feed 25% YourDog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% YourDog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it here again. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely left on YourDog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Schillerst�vare dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the YourDog package, the diet is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food in a good way after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or ton on a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the diet loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close again as well as possible.
