Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried in for a 12 kg bag, so that this can be better processed in our lump. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for the dog.

Buffalo

At YourDog we use meat from fairly grown up and grass -lined buffalo. Buffelo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At YourDog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together ensure a delicious taste and aroma of the chunk. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetable

To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. For example, vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The rough fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to YourDog, giving the dog all essential, natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to a fresh breath or maintaining a healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the health of the dog.

Spices

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, carrots, flowers, plants and algae has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected because of the positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are brought to the attention. Ras -specific complaints can be reduced by the use of herbs, carrots, flowers and plants.

Pointer specific vegetables, herbs and fruit

We have carefully examined the Pointer race characteristics. We have also conducted research into the properties of the FCI-RRAS section and the FCI variety group to which the Pointer belongs. These studies have, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionist, selected ingredients that optimally benefit the health and well -being of the Pointer.

Yucca

This plant grows in the deserts of Southwest America and Northern Mexico. The roots of the Yucca have been used for centuries by the Indians in these areas as a medicine against rheumatism and arthritis. It inhibits pain and inflammation in the joints.

Yucca can be added to our dog food because this could make a positive contribution to preventing breed -specific complaints in relation to rheumatism, arthritis, osteoarthritis, the intestines and the heart. Yucca can also ensure that the stool smells less strong and resolves smelly winds.

Mango

Mango belongs to the genus Mangifera and probably dates from northeastern India and Southeast Asia. It is a stone fruit with varying shapes and grows on a tree that can reach a height of 40 meters.

This delicious summer treat is packed with essential vitamins and minerals. For example, it contains vitamins A, B6, C and E and it is rich in potassium, beta-carotene and alpha carotene. Furthermore, Mango contains many healthy dietary fibers that contribute to the strengthening of the immune system and digestion. The natural antioxidant (vitamin C) contributes to the support of vital body functions. Vitamin A is full of beta -carotene, which can help to maintain and improve vision.

We add Mango to our dog food, because this can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's resistance and a healthy digestion. In addition, Mango can support the dog's eyesight.

Root

The root as we know it now, or the Oranje Wortel, is the result of many years of crossings. The first white roots originally came from Iran and were brought to the Netherlands by the VOC in the 17th century.

Roots are an important source of vitamins and fibers. For example, roots contain retinol (vitamin A1) and beta-carotine, which is converted into vitamin A. This is important for the structure of capillaries and the health of all cells. The fibers in a root contribute to the digestion of the dog. In addition, roots are low in calories and good for fur and skin.

Pup, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Pointer dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Pointer is younger than 11 months, choose the puppy variant. For a Pointer older than 7 years we recommend the YourDog Pointer senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Transfer advice

If you switch to YourDog from a different feed brand, we recommend following the following steps. For the first step you feed 25% YourDog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% YourDog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it here again. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely left on YourDog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Pointer dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the YourDog package, the diet is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food in a good way after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or ton on a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the diet loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close again as well as possible.
