Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried in for a 12 kg bag, so that this can be better processed in our lump. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for the dog.

Buffalo

At YourDog we use meat from fairly grown up and grass -lined buffalo. Buffelo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At YourDog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together ensure a delicious taste and aroma of the chunk. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetable

To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. For example, vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The rough fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to YourDog, giving the dog all essential, natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to a fresh breath or maintaining a healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the health of the dog.

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, carrots, flowers, plants and algae has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected because of the positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are brought to the attention. Ras -specific complaints can be reduced by the use of herbs, carrots, flowers and plants.

We have also conducted research into the properties of the FCI-RRAS Section and the FCI variety group to which the Parson Russel-Terrier belongs. Spirulina

Spirulina is a nutritional supplement with an exceptionally high nutritional value, made of blue -green alga that can be found in tropical and subtropical areas. It belongs to the Microalgen family. Did you know that Spirulina can be grown in the room and consists of proteins for 60 to 70%?

It is rich in vitamins, including B12, minerals, such as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and potassium and all essential amino acids. Spirulina can contribute to the health and well -being of the dog in a general sense. In addition, it can contribute to supporting the immune system and promoting healthy skin and shiny coat. The alga also has a detoxifying effect and promotes digestion.

Nettle

Nettle is a plant genus of which the large nettle and the small nettle occur in the Netherlands and Belgium. Nettle is known for its cleansing and blood -purifying effect. According to various sources, nettle is bactericidal and therefore very suitable for infectious diseases. The leaves are also suitable for diarrhea or other digestive disorders.

Nettle supports the functioning of the liver and kidneys by stimulating the degradation of waste. In addition, it works to support the bladder and hair growth of the dog.

Nettle also contains pebble acid, or silicon. This is a building material that is part of connective tissue in bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails. Silicon supports the natural production of the skin (cells) and ensures the preservation of healthy skin.

At YourDog we add nettle to our dog food, because this can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints in relation to the fur, skin and bones of the dog, but also for the purpose of preventing digestive and/or pee problems .

Banana

The banana plant grows in tropical areas where the temperature does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. There are even indications that the banana would have been cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word Obanaana from the language of the Wolof population.

Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals. Including vitamins A, C and B11 (folic acid) and the mineral potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. The natural antioxidant, vitamin C, can strengthen the resistance. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and can contribute to a properly functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also contribute to lowering blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, magnesium can contribute to relaxing the muscles and promoting bone growth. In addition, banana contains a lot of good fibers and ensures more good bacteria in the intestines.

Pup, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our variants Parson Russel-Terrier dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Parson Russel terrier is younger than 11 months, choose the puppy variant. For a Parson Russel terrier older than 7 years we recommend the Yourdog Parson Russel-Terrier Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Transfer advice

If you switch to YourDog from a different feed brand, we recommend following the following steps. For the first step you feed 25% YourDog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% YourDog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it here again. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely left on YourDog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Parson Russel-Terrier dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the YourDog package, the diet is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food in a good way after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or ton in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the diet loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close again as well as possible.
