Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried in for a 12 kg bag, so that this can be better processed in our lump. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for the dog.

Buffalo

At YourDog we use meat from fairly grown up and grass -lined buffalo. Buffelo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At YourDog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together ensure a delicious taste and aroma of the chunk. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetable

To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. For example, vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, carrots, flowers, plants and algae has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected because of the positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are brought to the attention. Ras -specific complaints can be reduced by the use of herbs, carrots, flowers and plants.

We have carefully investigated the race characteristics of the Airedale Terrier. We have also conducted research into the properties of the FCI variety section and the FCI variety group to which the Airedale Terrier belongs. These studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionist, have been selected that optimally benefits the health and well -being of the Airedale Terrier.

Licorice root

Lawwood root is derived from the Greek glyks for Ozoet and Rhiza for Owroot, it is also called glycyrrhiza Glabra. The origin of the plant lies in Eurasia, North Africa and West Asia. From ancient people, medicinal properties are already attributed to licorice and the root is often used for the preparation of herbal tea.

Lawwood root would have a soothing effect on mucous membranes and would also have anti -inflammatory and analgesic properties. In addition, it can contribute to the recovery of the gastric mucosa and it would be good for a sensitive gastrointestinal system.

Nettle

Nettle is a plant genus of which the large nettle and the small nettle occur in the Netherlands and Belgium. Nettle is known for its cleansing and blood -purifying effect. According to various sources, nettle is bactericidal and therefore very suitable for infectious diseases. The leaves are also suitable for diarrhea or other digestive disorders.

Nettle supports the functioning of the liver and kidneys by stimulating the degradation of waste. In addition, it works to support the bladder and hair growth of the dog.

Nettle also contains pebble acid, or silicon. This is a building material that is part of connective tissue in bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails. Silicon supports the natural production of the skin (cells) and ensures the preservation of healthy skin.

At YourDog we add nettle to our dog food, because this can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints in relation to the fur, skin and bones of the dog, but also for the purpose of preventing digestive and/or pee problems .

Root

The root as we know it now, or the Oranje Wortel, is the result of many years of crossings. The first white roots originally came from Iran and were brought to the Netherlands by the VOC in the 17th century.

Roots are an important source of vitamins and fibers. For example, roots contain retinol (vitamin A1) and beta-carotine, which is converted into vitamin A. This is important for the structure of capillaries and the health of all cells. The fibers in a root contribute to the digestion of the dog. In addition, roots are low in calories and good for fur and skin.

Pup, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our variants Airedale Terrier dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Airedale terrier is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For an Airedale Terrier older than 7 years we recommend the Yourdog Airedale Terrier Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the adult variant.

Transfer advice

If you switch to YourDog from a different feed brand, we recommend following the following steps. For the first step you feed 25% YourDog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% YourDog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it here again. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely left on YourDog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Airedale Terrier dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the YourDog package, the diet is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food in a good way after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or ton in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the diet loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close again as well as possible.
