The FLIR Scion OTM366 is a heat imaging camera from the top segment and has a 640x480 Boson detector (12µm/60Hz), manual focus and a magnification range of 1.3 to 10.4x. The OTM366 has been specially developed for thermal observations at large distances. This makes it an extremely suitable accessory for countless (semi) professional applications.

The thermal camera offers you three observatimodi. This way you can do the standard Scouting mode use, to observe as you are used to. A new function is the Lock-Span mode. With this you filter unwanted temperatures that you do not want. Think of very cold or warm temperatures, or bright objects such as the air and fire. With this, only objects get a color on which you want to focus; Filtered objects are displayed in black. The third mode is Picture-in-picture. You use this option to further zoom in on a certain object in the screen (2x), without losing the rest of the field of vision. Furthermore, the viewer has many indispensable functions such as GPS, inclinometer, Wi-Fi and much more.

With the help of six supplied batteries you can use the FLIR Scion OTM366 to five hours. Using an optionally available Rechargeable battery you can use the heat imaging camera for up to 10 hours. The viewer also has a auto-shutdown function. The device is IP67 certified and therefore waterproof and impact-resistant.

Application

The OTM366 is the top model from the Scion OTM series. With this camera you can easily detect hidden people and animals, even under extreme conditions such as complete darkness, fog, rain, snow, etc. With the help of the manual focus you can always be sccher sets according to your preference. This makes it an indispensable tool for tactical applications - police, security, rescue services - but is also very suitable for nature researchers and any form of private use.
