Developed by nature photographers

The Aquila Mark II was developed by nature and wildlife photographers. Extensive used, tested and improved where necessary. The Aquila Mark II is the double pop-up hiding that we currently offer in no less than 6 camouflage patterns.
Due to the improved jumping spring construction, the tent can be set up and folded again and again. As soon as you remove the shelter from the bag, turn it off automatically and will come in shape.
For the ideal height you also place the supplied fiber optic tent poles in the ridge of the tent. This also makes the tent perfectly weather -resistant. Then your tent is ready for use!

Easy, fast and mobile

The advantage of your own mobile shelter is that you can take it with you anytime and anywhere and you can use it quickly if an opportunity occurs.
This light and compact camouflage tent is easy to carry when you are on the road in your area, go further away or even travel by plane.

Prepare and place

The Aquila Mark II also has the option to attach extra camouflage, such as branches, leaves, reeds and so on. These extras can be confirmed using the strings. If you do this well, your shelter will go even more in the area and that is precisely the intention! Another possibility is to use an extra camouflage network, which you will find on our camouflage nets page.
However, make sure that with your camera you have a good and clear view to all sides.
The tent cloth itself is made of a strong material (polyester 150d) that lasts a long time. The photo tent is perfect for use for short periods (up to a few months). If it is in full sun for a longer period of time, the color/camoprint can fade somewhat. In rain/showers you will stay dry due to the hydrostatic head of 2,500 mm. But keep in mind that the weather resistance can decrease if it stays outside for months or even longer.
For more comfort, to put your bag and/or other things dry on the floor, and to keep ticks and other unwanted guests away, you can use a groundsheet in your tent.

Photographing from the tent

The spacious entrance has a high -quality zipper, if opened, hangs nicely on the side and is also equipped with an insect mesh in the same camouflage print. The photo tent with the door (slightly) opened is therefore still perfectly camouflaged.
Once in the tent you can see that it is very dark due to the black coating on the inside. Via the small viewing windows with an insect network you have just enough vision on all sides to oversee the environment. The shelter offers enough space for one or two people, chairs, stands with equipment and a few photo backpacks or bags. On one side there is an extra storage compartment where you can store some small things.
There are no fewer than 4 photovers on the front. You have the choice to photograph at eye level or low at the ground. On the right side, two more photo starters can be used at eye level and one photo volley is placed at eye level on the left. Optionally, it is possible to attach extra snoots or lens covers to these photovers, who also camouflages and protects your lens against any rain and dust. An additional advantage is that your hands are invisible from outside when you operate your camera.
