Description
Organic disc brake cubes for formula hydraulic caliper are available within the Elvedes range. These brake pads offer a good price/quality ratio. They are ideal for use during dry conditions and suitable for MTB, trekking and racing bikes. In addition, there are also sintered brake pads available, ideal for wet conditions and suitable for MTB. For e-bikes there are metallic carbon (semi-metal) brake pads available, which are ideal for both wet and dry weather conditions.
- Organic: ideal during dry conditions, for MTB / draw / racing bikes
- Sintered: ideal during wet conditions, for MTB
- Metallic carbon (semi-metal): ideal during both wet and dry weather conditions, for e-bike
It is important to inhibit the new brake pads for a longer lifespan. Keep the brake lever on lightly while driving so that the brake pads touch the brake disc. Drive approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake at the end a little harder to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase the speed while slightly braking. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure that the new brake pads are well finished.
