The XD-15 combines a hardened outdoor cage with silicone nitride bullets from ceramics, oversized in an exclusive way of working that ensures a bearing of a very high quality. These bearings are still 5x more resistant to corrosion than 440c stainless steel bullets. These bearings run with a minimum of resistance than everything we have developed to this day, with oversized ceramic bullets of grade 3. LLB: our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. In contrast to the standard 2RS, we go a little further through the mechanical placement of a notch in the inner ring, where the seal can run with an excellent efficiency and a resistance compared to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single «lip» of a thick seal that sands against an uneven surface, the type of LLB uses 2 lips of seals, fine such as a razor blade that slides into a notch with a light contact. The outer «lip» keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains the fat for smooth rotation and long intervals between the maintenance.
